Cute, cozy, and completely unique—I was hooked.

Being single, with no kids and just my sweet little Chihuahua at the time, a tiny home felt like the perfect fit. Just enough space for what mattered, without the weight of everything else. No big house to maintain, no constant upkeep… just simple, peaceful living.

At first, it was just a dream—but it quickly became something more.

One day, I came across the cutest tiny home on Pinterest, and from there, I fell deep into inspiration. I began collecting ideas, saving everything that spoke to me—bedrooms, kitchens, layouts, colors, gardens… anything that captured that feeling I couldn’t quite put into words.

Years passed.
Then more years.

After more than a decade and over 50,000 saved ideas later, I realized something important…

This wasn’t just inspiration anymore.
It was a vision.

And then… it grew.

What if this wasn’t just about my tiny home?
What if I could create a place where others could experience that same sense of peace?

A small collection of cottages.
A quiet setting.
A space designed not just for staying—but for slowing down.

That thought changed everything.

I began sketching out ideas, imagining the layout, the feeling, the experience. For the first time, I could truly see it.

It felt real.

But like many dreams… reality stepped in.

I didn’t have the land.
I didn’t have the funding.
And I didn’t know exactly how I would make it happen.

Still… something in me said not to let it go.

After spending over 20 years in a fast-paced career, always moving, always working, I realized how easy it is to lose time without even noticing.

Time to rest.
Time to reflect.
Time to simply sit and enjoy the moment.

That realization became the heart behind Sunday Cottage Escape.

This isn’t just about tiny homes.
It’s about creating a place where people can reconnect—with themselves, with nature, and with what truly matters.

So instead of keeping this dream to myself, I chose to share the journey.

From the early ideas…
To the planning…
To the day it finally becomes real.

Whether it takes two years or ten, I believe it’s worth building with intention—and bringing others along the way.
